Brady Etchison

As most of you know Brady was injured when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving and hit an electric pole. The wreck did not injure him. But when he exited the vehicle his foot touched the ground and he touched the car. An electric line was on the vehicle and he was electrocuted. He has 3rd degree burns over 60% of his body.

We didn't know he was in the car. He just decided to take off to his buddy's house and go fishing. He loves to hunt and fish. In fact that's all he wants to do. Please keep him in your prayers.

Address for cards and gifts: Brady Etchison c/o Shriners Hospital 3229 Burnet Avenue Cincinnati, OH 45229 No fresh flowers or latex balloons are aloud in his room.

April 28, 2009 - Afternoon update

Finished Brady's dressing. It was a major deal. Used an IV drip, so he was completely out for the whole thing. Thank the Lord for that - no pain for Brady. Lasted for 3 hours and they removed over 1,000 staples.

He's resting well now.

More good news - if he continues to do well after he wakes up they plan to remove his NG tube and try to get him gradually started on a regular diet.

Keep praying! Love to all!

The Muskogee Firefighters are selling raffle tickets to help Brady and his family, call the chairman of the raffle sales, Steve Beauvais, his cell # is 918-348-0981.  His e-mail address is beauvaissteve@yahoo.com. He will be happy to help anyone buy or sell tickets. Thank You

Be sure to contact the Tahlequah Fire Department to schedule the Safety Trailer for your schools
