WOODALL VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
Our new Fire Chief is Jason Fullen. While we are sad to see Gary go we welcome Chief Fullen.
We are a volunteer fire department with 19 firefighters, 2 stations, and 9 trucks located in central Cherokee County. We protect highway 62 from 6 mile road to 82-62 junction east-west, and Camp Gruber on the south side of Highway 51 North.
The Woodall Volunteer Fire Department has earned an ISO Class 9 rating. This has lowered the home insurance costs for all of the residents of our coverage area. If you or your insurance company have any questions on this please call the numbers listed below.
In addition to providing fire protection and auto rescue, we provide a First Responder service in cooperation with the two county ambulance services, having 3 EMT’s and 2 First Responders.
We rely on funding generated by our membership dues and our fund-raisers throughout the year, as well as some monies from the County and the State.
If you are interested in volunteering with our department or have any special skills that we may use contact. All Emergency calls should be directed to 911.
