This course is designed for drivers/operators. Will cover
multiple aspects of pumper operations in regards to rural
fire suppression including drafting, static supply and
apparatus requirements.
Advanced Vol. Fire Fighter April 15th, 17th, 22nd and 24th
16 hours
This course is designed to enhance the VFFP course with
16 hours of practical training exercises including fire streams
& hose handling, ventilation, PPE/SCBA, Rescue and Ladders.
Tuesday and Thursday 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Mayday May 8th
8 hours
This is a very intense course designed to enhance firefighter safety.
Participants will participate in exercises designed to trap and incapacitate
while conducting fire fighting evolutions
Emergency Incident Tactics May 13th and 15th
8 hours
This course has been designed for rural fire service response.
Combines basic IMS/ICS tactics for departments with limited
resources and expanding response agencies.
Water Supply and Tanker Operations June 12th and 14th
10 hours
Course is designed to enhance individual department efficiency
and tanker operations for utual aid considerations.Included within
this course; supply water, drafting considerations, pumper relay, water sources.
Thursday 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

As a member of a fire department outside of Cherokee County the charge for any class is $5.00 for the first 4 hours $2.00 for each additional 4 hours of the class.
