SPARROW HAWK VILLAGE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT

State Licensed First Responder Agency
We are a volunteer fire department with 13 firefighters
, 2 drivers, 2 stations, and 6 trucks located in central
Cherokee County. We protect an area surrounding
Sparrow Hawk Village and bound roughly by
the Illinois River and Highway 10.
Sparrow Hawk Village Volunteer Fire Department
has earned an ISO Class 9 rating. This has lowered
the home insurance costs for all of the residents
of our coverage area. If you or your insurance
company has any questions on this please call
the numbers listed below.

In addition to providing fire protection and
auto rescue, we provide a First Responder
service in cooperation with the two county
ambulance services, having 5 First Responders.

We rely on funding generated by our fund-raisers
throughout the year, as well as some monies
from the County and the State.
